'Slowdancing in the Dark' This audiovisualiser was inspired by Joji's song 'Slowdancing in the Dark' and connected my love of music with my passion for light-based art.
The Parked Cars - This room contains neon frame "cars" in which visitors sit in front of a projected view. When the audience sit, the cars rumble and produce smoke clouding the image ahead. Once the cars are empty the smoke clears and the sunset can be fully admired.
'Just Browsing'. This image was part of a storyboard for a project inspired by Alan Lightman's 'Einstein's Dreams' in which a girl is forced to relive the same mundane day over and over again.

The Bar is comprised of a glass tank with a relief map of the world inside. As the ice sculpture melts, symbolising the devastating effect of climate change on the Arctic, the water fills up the glass bar, showing which countries and cities would go underwater first if all the worlds' ice was to melt.

Multidisciplinary Designer
Hi, I'm Saskia! I'm a multidisciplinary Design for Performance graduate with strong interest in events and interiors. My work pulls together themes of light and space, pinned down by a strong narrative. I love to work with colour to tie a piece together be it by mood, brand or aesthetic.
