Arts Producer The Art House

 I currently work as an arts producer for The Art House in Wakefield, I manage a huge variety of projects and get to work with amazing artists doing fascinating work. It’s such a varied role and one which I think makes a real difference to my community which is what makes it so enjoyable. 

I’m also part of a new social design collective, Open to the Public. Myself and 3 friends set up the studio in 2020 and we have already undertaken some big projects across Leeds and Wakefield painting murals, delivering creative workshops for children and designing publications, we’re really excited for what’s to come!

The course taught me to be collaborative, flexible and adaptable to different briefs and clients. It gave me the chance to really explore all the different aspects of design for performance and to understand how to make those skills work for me in the future. I still use all of those skills today and I'm really grateful for my time on the course and to everyone I studied with during my three years there, it was so much fun.
